I haven't noticed that at all, and I live in burien (around 15 minutes away from Seattle). I go to Seattle often to dinner, shopping and to stroll.The#1Spot wrote:
Hobos, smells like ass and very dirty. There are things there but I do not remember.
1. As others have said, The Pike Place market is really interesting, many crafts and local foods (Sunday is the best day to visit the market I believe)HurricaИe wrote:
What is there to do in Seattle?
2. Also the Space Needle is great for dinner, its expensive if I remember right, but the food is worth it (I haven't been in a while, it might have changed.)
3. There is a new art park with many sculptures and others works.
4. The SAM (Seattle Art Museum) its a new museum and features modern art.
5. EMP
6. As a local, I usually go downtown to check out shops and stroll (i.e. see new parts of the city)
P.S. The dining is great. A couple restaurants I recommend: Lola's, Dahlia Lounge, Etta's, Cutter's (Some of those are expensive), there are others but they are escaping me at the moment.
