Fuck iPods. Shitty things they are. Get a decent one with at least 20GB. 320kbps audio ftw.
160Gb, with mixed 320kbps / FLAC audio encoded into iTunes m4a format (which to be fair doesn't compress the quality that much if you set it up to be liberal on space-saving under iTunes.)
How is this 'bad' in any way for the average day out and about listening? There's a lot of anti-iPod sentiment - in fact it seems to now be 'kewl' to hate on Apple products mindlessly rather than the original movement of mindlessly worshipping whatever cack they produce with some pretetentious name like 'Air' attached to it as a suffix. The simple matter of fact is that the alternatives either lack some must-have features, or they're simply not as good as the iPod. Love or hate Apple, the iPod is the big boy in the mp3/mp4 market, and is the consumer's choice.
Steering away from this pointless battle of fanboyism... Does anyone know any properly decent methods of mass-finding album artwork for iTunes? Winamp and iTunes each have their own 'basic' artwork downloaders, but their choice and range is fairly limited. I found a great program that I mentioned earlier which basically uses Amazon's and Google Images' search engines to find the album artwork- and then downloads and applies it automatically seamlessly, hundreds per minute... yet again even this has some inconsistencies. Looking for a really solid remedy, if one exists!
