No.  There's a ban for cigarettes ads in Europe f.i. when the F1 takes place in Europe, you'll see there's no cigarettes ads on the cars, ridiculous.  In fact, that's more publicity.
No I agree with that, cigarette sponsors/advertisements in sports is a stupid thing
I don't, I think they should be able to advertise all they want. Coke isn't good for you either, yet it is advertised, I think we can all agree McDonalds isn't good for either, yet they advertise.

It is up to the parents to teach right and wrong, it is up to the people/kids to make sound decisions based on how they were raised, if the people decide to smoke, as long as they are kept away from people who do not and do not force non-smokers to smoke with them. I say let them inhale loooooonnnnnnnnnggggggggg and deep, and let the tobacco companies fleece them and the high tax dollars keep rolling in.

I find it strange how they call for the banning of smoking, a cigarette in a war or action movie is the least thing they should worry about lol. *Cue giganitic explosion and gunfight.

I guess the sports governing bodies should be able to ban whoever they want. I think the reason places like McDonalds are allowed to advertise in sports (e.g football/soccer) is because they're doing quite alot to up their image in the sporting world. Such as pushing forward more healthy foods and introducing various sports programs to communities etc..

Although I still think it's stupid when you see McDonalds adverts on the boards around a football pitch

I find this laughable. I'm against the banning of anything in movies/television. I am even against the banning of anything on television. I don't see why anybody must me sheltered from anything.

It is ridiculous, I believe art forms like movies should be a mirror to society and as such there should be no censorship. Age restrictions certainly but not censorship.
they also pixelate out genitals...in porn! What the f is that about, I want my smokin and nudity to be uncensored.

Well, it's harder to ensure minors don't watch extreme content on television compared with cinema so a little more responsibility is needed but I do believe in artistic freedom in the visual arts.

When I have kids, you can be sure that the first things they learn how to do are: throw craps, smoke a cigar, and search for pron.

It will put hair on their chest, even if they are a female.

its weird. I saw a guy who was at least 90 today who had a smoke hanging out of his mouth. When i was in Okinawa in the mid 90''s i saw all kinds of old folk with smokes in the mouth, in fact saw a guy who was probably a thousand years old riding his bicycle up hill with a smoke hanging out of his mouth.

i guess it affects people in different ways. No doubt it's bad for you in the long run for the most of us, but i think the whole second hand smoke is harmful thing is bogus and overblown, you would need to be locked in a room for a long period of time before it would do any harm at all.

Although, anyone who smokes cigs around a newborn or young child is immature and should get a clue..just on principle alone, if not for health effects but more for the fact that they will get the idea that smoking is ok. Which it aint, but i will stand by my idea that adults are overreacting towards it in their lives thesedays.
