That number surprises me. I thought it would've been more like 10% or something. They're always talking about how the younger generations in 1st-world countries aren't extremists and don't believe in killing and all that crap.
Second generation Muslim immigrants actually tend to be more extremist than their parents because of feelings of alienation in the mainstream culture, a naive ignorance of how desperate and oppressive their countries of origin often are, and because there are extremist clerics in countries like Britain that prey on disillusioned Muslim youths.

Basically, the 2nd generation Muslims that fit this description are naive, ignorant pawns.  Thankfully, most 2nd generation Muslims aren't such idiots.

I'm going to bet that after the first attempt, nobody got permission to do a follow up study.
Whats so shocking about that? You interview Palestinian kids and they'd have said the same thing about the Israelies.

It's a super secret that they hate each other so don't tell anybody.

Oh noes...the Muslims are coming to kill us all again.

I'm done with the whole Muslim thing to be quite fucking honest. I still to this day have never seen any real life evidence of extremism, I've never experienced any ill will from a Muslim and I've never seen any noteworthy examples of appeasement in my society. Quite frankly I'm about as wary of Muslims as I am of Communists.

You can look at all the hypothetical polls you want, I'm sure a poll of Americans asking how many support the invasion of Iraq and the killing of thousands of Iraqis in the name of 'freedom' and 'liberty' would return equally interesting results.

It's no wonder many feel alienated, as m3thod has pointed out before, when so many in your society don't mind reminding you that you're "a fucking Paki" at every opportunity it's easy to see why many second or third generation immigrants feel very little affinity towards their adopted home. Add to this some romanticed and unrealistic views about their homeland and a dash of youthful naivity and you have a dangerous cocktail.

I know it means very little to you but my site is full of present and historical fact. Yours is full of opinion.

I notice you didn't use an Islamic wbsite as a comparison

i'd be interested in the rate of change of these statistics rather than just a static figure.  30% becomes 40% becomes 50%, etc - THIS is more worrisome.

Maybe you didn't have dogs set on when you were 5 years old because you're a paki?  I sure it was all fine and dandy in your exclusive white only suburb where you were born and raised and no doubt currently dwell.  I was actually talking to a black colleague of mine today at a meeting about integration and he was quote "absolutely battered for being black, i mean i didn't get up".  we're talking about the 60's, 70's and my case 80's.

Alienation stems from reasons a lot older than grouping all Muslims under the the current fad of Al Qaeda.   And I hope you realise that website you constantly spam harms your already deranged argument?

Nice site Cam, any "news" articles in there that are LESS than 4 years old?

The site I posted is updated everyday, ya know why? Because it CAN be.

I'm sure murder, rape and beatings occurs everyday in America too. Perhaps we should start a website covering that.

If that were really the case and not so absurd, Cam and others would have done so already. But if you feel you can please do so.  That would make for some great arguing

Only you would think a murder in the US is the same thing as what is being done in the name of Islam all over the world.

Because it a website reporting crimes committed by muslims.  It's dumb, bias and only attacts the stupid.

This is terrorism? Sure is according to your website.  And anyway terrorism is in the eye of the beholder.

you guys are killing me. Any site that contradicts your argument is biased, and any site that supports your argument is the REAL truth...It is getting tiresome.
