I recently got a wireless adapter card for my desktop PC and it works great... for browsing the internet. But when I try to play games I get variable ping and basically it's just not cut out for gaming.
Luckily I still have a wired connection in my room and I'd like to be able to use that. I disconnect from the wireless network and try using my wired connection but it says there's a problem with the connection. I try repairing it and it just doesn't work.
Do I have to uninstall the wireless card using the device manager before I can use a wired connection? What should I do to be able to use my wired connection instead of my wireless?
EDIT: Disabling wireless network card did nothing. The wired connection can't repair because it can't "renew my IP address".
