He probably meant a 4 gfx card system. But some are too thick to realize that.Defiance wrote:

If I buy that from the states and ship it to Italy, will that the same as of buying from Italy or less?
That Macpro is like a Veyron. (Ok its a mac)
Its fucking fast (you cannot deny the power of that machine) and you cannot ignore that much power.
I wanna be able to play any new games at High Details and not lower them to low/medium and play a game that looks like if everything was made out of chocolate.
Or be able to switch from Photoshop and Illustrator, work on a big photo without incredibly long freezes.
Fuck, I want a 8-core processor with 16GB of RAM and a QUADRO gfx card.
Why do you want 16GB RAM? What's the point? Especially when it's FB RAM, which isn't exactly optimal for gaming (just like all these error checking RAM technologies). Xeons for gaming? Why?
A Quadro graphics card? Hmmm, sounds like someone is just looking at the prices on the cards instead of actually having any clue what they're talking about. Quadros cost loads, but are designed for OpenGL stuff and CAD. NOT gaming.
On the subject of Mac Pro graphics cards - there are all sorts of horrific issues with the 8800GT in Mac Pros which can cause horrendous instability. The upgrade kit for non-Penryn based Mac Pro systems simply doesn't work properly. It is a known issue (Apple internal Knowledge Base only - because they won't admit to it) and the release of the 10.5.4 install disk was designed to combat this problem (though it's still pointless and unless you get a Penryn there's no point in having the upgrade because the card performs worse than the 2600XT).
I use these systems pretty much every day. They're not very fast. I've always been astonished by how poorly Mac Pros actually seem to perform in general.
I very much doubt it, since the Quadro is the most pricey card there, that's clearly why he chose it..Sup wrote:

In any case. What's the real benefit in having 4 graphics cards? None, that's what. Not unless you want to be using numerous displays. No Crossfire or SLI support on Mac Pro logic boards.
Even if all four were crossfired, they would be less than greatBertster7 wrote:

Wow, seriously? I'm going to say that what you just said is the heart of the joke. Do I have to explain further or would you like to try again?.Sup wrote:
