That explains it. They've got those damn things all over the place here. Traffic sucks and more than half the people don't know how to drive for shit...not to mention the massive number of immigrants who don't bother to learn US traffic rules and drive like they're still in their old country.

Personally, I'd hate to learn to drive here. Hell, I've driven for over 20 years, in many large metropolitan areas both in the US and abroad...and DC is the worst I've seen, bar none.

In the town here, with about 10k people, we have OVER TWENTY roundabouts! And it goes on like that over most of the island. They recently made one in a little village with a school of 70 pupils and 350 people living there.

you are heading towards a roundabout... blink right (keeps blinking) and you exit...

if you wanna go round, you blink left and then when you exit you blink right...

No when I did my exams you actually had to signal right when driving onto one, then signal when you were going to exit. Didn't matter even if you'd do a complete revolution and exit the same place you entered, you still had to signal right.

Just stick to the outside lane until you get to the road you need to go to. If somebody's on the inside and wants to turn right while you continue on the rotary, that's their problem.

lol thats nothing, within 16 square miles there are probably around 200 or so roundabouts . tbh I love roundabouts, they are much more efficient than traffic lights.
