Background: As some of you may remember, around January of this year I posted a topic concerned about a large bump I had on my ass. Went to the doctor, he told me to take some anti-biotics and bathe in epsom salt-saturated water. Seemed to work.
Now many months later, that bump came back. This morning when I got out of the shower I noticed it was bleeding / burst. I flipped out, tried to dry it up, then went about business as usual.
As the school day crept on, the abscess became more and more uncomfortable, to the point where it was very painful to the touch of hand or fabric (it was essentially an open wound). I wound up going to the hospital to get it fixed once and for all.
I get into my hospital gown and get on my side. The doctor tells me the quick procedure and starts.
HOLY FUCK I HAVE NEVER FELT THAT MUCH PAIN IN MY LIFE but god damn is it liberating (and I'm 10x manlier for not crying like a baby)
They first tried getting some pus out (to culture it to make sure the infection isn't something like MRSA) and that didn't work, so they had to cut it with a scalpel. That was by far the most fucking painful part. Then they had to squeeze it which was also very painful, but now I have antibiotics to treat it AND it doesn't hurt to walk or sit anymore.
