In the past, I have received excellent service from these guys. I've used card and check.
Now, it's mind-bogglingly irritating. For some reason, they can't process my card (three straight 'failed authorizations,' though I've bought power tools from Lowe's and stacks of movies from Amazon with it), and despite a history of checks to Newegg, they've been rejecting them.
October. Then I get a check written out for both those numbers in late November, which arrives in the mail in December.Thank you for your interest in shopping with Newegg.com. This email is to inform you that we have received your payment for your order # SO#x/y. Unfortunately, we have not been able to confirm the funds for your check because the initial deposit verification has failed.
What the hell?
So I'm waiting on order z, and it's still listed as 'submitted.' In November, they even mistakenly given me a tracking number for it, which cost me another couple of weeks of wasted time. How do you give someone a tracking number for an order that hasn't even been shipped yet?!
Previous orders have been erased from my Newegg history, but they can't erase them from my inbox. Newegg's 'legendary customer service' indeed...I've been back and forth with these guys for awhile now, and still have to go through their automated e-mail service. I hate to get on the phone with people for stuff like this because it inevitably pisses me off (and probably supercharges my blood-pressure), but tomorrow looks like that day. And before then, I've gotta go through my stack of e-mail and round up every bit of stuff from these guys because they saw fit to strike it from the record. Not only that, but they now want me to dig up the tracking number for the check itself. Think they could've requested that earlier?
And I'm sick of dealing with Nicki Li's automated responses.
