My friend (and myself as well) are looking for new cameras. He's open to DSLRs and he's got some options, but we're also looking for good point-and-shoots. I want a camera that performs very well in low-light conditions and that favors quality over megapixel amount. It seems that most manufacturers (at least for point-and-shoots) care more about having the biggest megapixel count than about having high-quality pictures.
The Lumix LX3 has been suggested to me by a couple people. Any other ideas?
