The IRA never fought a single real battle (sniping from the bushes and putting bombs in pubs doesn't count), and very few of them are really prepared to die for their beliefs.

number of British troops killed here by IRA 673 - in total 1123 members of British security forces were killed 60% of that number are accredited to the IRA (republican Groupings) = average of roughly 20 per yer

So I say tie in military terms - however the grizzly task of statistics regarding innocent victims of both groupings i'd say the Taliban far exceed the ra in terms of Terror..

(granted the whole this is pretty fucking tasteless though)

If the British had been allowed to call in airstrikes each time they heard a gunshot in Armagh I'm pretty sure their casualties would have been a lot lower and the IRA would have crapped themselves and given up after about twenty minutes.

It would only take the Taliban skinning alive one or two provos and the rest would suddenly decide they'd much rather be British.

You guys fail the understand that the purpose of "Deadliest Warrior" isn't to find out which army would win, but which individual soldier.

In that case the IRA are better disciplined and tend to have better equipment.
