This was discussed in another thread, it needs to be made official, (credit goes to Flecco.)

MANUARY, THE MONTH OF MEN is a celebration of how good it is to be a guy. This is not a whiney-bitch movement to protest against other groups getting their own days and months it's just MANUARY. It is open across races, cultures, religions, nationalities and sexualities - even gender if the ladies want to join me on the deck for Whisky and a Cigar, (they never do.) It is a month to reflect on and enjoy the finer things of being a bloke, it's as simple as that.

People are encouraged to pursue traditionally manly activites such as shaving one's face, woodchopping, cooking with fire, building something out of lumps of wood, bear wrestling, rock-crushing, magma-swimming and planet-destroying.

Nothing works. I would put it in August if I could, I have no qualms about celebrating being manly in the depths of winter plus it's my birthday month. Fact remains that MANUARY just works so much better.

But take heart by the fact that it's more manly to be bear-wrestling and wood-chopping in winter anyway.

Exactly, nothing say MAN like frostbite from swimming under a frozen lake. As for us down under, I'm sure a good old fashioned kangaroo/sheep wrestling match should suffice well, what what. Followed by a good choice of brandy no doubt.
