This time Europe has gone too far. This appeasement bullshit has to end somewhere.

In the strictist form of the word, yes it is appeasement. period. The state has taken in specific religious considerations in their decision.
I do not have a problem with it because it is such a minor consideration it practically is off the radar screen, ( except for Cam's fishing trip)

second thought, I also do not have a problem with it because it is not Islam, a violent, intolerant, destructive religion whose ideology of superiority over gays, women, and non-Muslims, has no place in western society.

So appeasement is okay as long as we don't appease Muslims?

I think appeasment comes in a more sinister enviroment.  When you are changing your activities in order to avoid promised reprisals, then I think that is appeasment.  To remove all cartoons of Mohamed so that your newspapers don't get bombed.  To change your public policy so you don't get bombed.

Did the Jewish students threaten reprisals if they didn't change their test day?  And it does not have to bombing.  If they threatened law suits and the school caved, then I would call that appeasment.

Lets also not forget that the state did this WITHOUT fear of reprisal if they didn't.

Most Islamic appeasement is done for this very reason, they are afraid of what might happen if they didn't.

Sure, you can judge anyone you choose to, I repect your right to do so, however, my statement about the religion of Islam is a statement of FACT. Don't shoot the messenger because of the message. Islamic outrage over everything EXCEPT the actions of its followers speaks volumes.

I say that if they are willing to wear the silly clothes that make us all smile then maybe you should do what is needed to keep them on the campus for their entertainment value.

But if I were in charge I would say " You are free to find a school that observes your beliefs and holidays, but this one doesn't really give a fuck and if it means so much you should have researched it before you decided to go to school here. "  Then I would have threatened to shave off their facial hair due to health concerns.

hold on slick, I asked for proof that my statement is not correct. so how about it?

the age of Islam is not the topic of my statement that you say is wrong. So if I am wrong prove it. Because I can list examples as to where I am right.

What you keep failing to grasp is this; Man is the problem, not a religion.

The Cathoilic Church does not punish homosexuality, all they do is project a message it is wrong. The Church does not have the power to bestow or remove rights.

notice how you give dates that are past tense with your other 2 examples. We live in the here and now.

So everywhere in the world should be at the same level as each other? thats not how it works. enviromental determinism, read up on it.
