Here's an ethical question about TK-ing for planes:
Is it wrong to TK somebody who's trying to line-jump into a plane you've been waiting for?
See, here's the thing-- I believe in taking turns, or waiting to take your turn in your vehicle. In fact, when there's a guy in the hanger waiting for the plane who get's strafed by the enemy, I'll revive him and go back to the corner of the hanger and still let him take the plane. I always stand back with my gun pointed away. I'll even type "your plane" so it's clear, when somebody's there first.
But alot of other folks don't seem to play that way. If I'm the one waiting for the plane, they'll come up and pull a knife or take pot shots or bunny hop in my face, even if it's the guy who just smacked the plane into a tree (especially then). It used to be that, if they stole the plane, I'd just quit and find a less populated server--
NOW I JUST SHOOT THEM.
I just don't have the patience for line jumpers anymore, and quitting always seemed to add a loss to my win/loss, as well.
The thing is, I'd never TK somebody who's already there. Heck, I'll even back the rightful pilot in a fight against another line jumper.
It seems pretty simple to me: You don't cut in line at the 7-11 or the movie theatre (unless you're looking for a fight). Why do it in game? It turns into lord of the flies out there when it happens.
So do you think it's wrong to TK in this case?
