Bullshit deaths, which are mostly attributed to bugs.

I was playing Mashtuur earlier today. As I joined the server, the maps switched, so of course I had to sit through the tedium of loading and verifying data for a map that had already been changed, only to get to load the next map. As you know, when that happens, the game freaks out and you get either a losing or winning melody depending on which team you were assigned to and what the results were before the map changed, followed by that annoying score/ready screen coming up in the middle of everything. I was in the middle of a firefight when that thing decided to pop up, and when I finally got out of it again, I was miraculously alive with 2 bars of health left. The last two people in the fight had by a bizzare twist of faith shot eachother dead with their rifles, and being a medic, I tossed myself a medkit and went to work reviving. Or so I thought. As I pulled out my defib, the thing that all medics fear happened to me. The pads were locked, and the ammo counter on them said 0, so I patiently waited 5 seconds after which it finally did the loading sequence, and I went to pad a friendly.

Nothing happened.

I had been sitting on top of him the whole time, and I padded straight down onto him. His corpse wasn't even close to expiring, but nothing happened. I went to pad again. The pads were stuck. Again patiently waiting 5 seconds for them to reload, I went to pad the last guy who hadn't expired. I padded him right in the back with a second or two left on his counter.

Nothing happened.

Well, I lied. Something did happen. I got blown the fuck up by a grenade. Thank you, EA/Dice. Thank you a whole fucking lot.

Can't choose only one of them.
The following list contains everything I hate in BF2:
Every kind of raping
People running in front or airplanes when you drive it
Punishing accidental TKs
Whole team getting owned (Once player 64p karkand, our team had no one better than Staff Sergeant and their team had no one with worse rank than it)
French people chatting with microphone (Tell me something more annoying!)
Crap commander
Language filter (I keep on getting kicked for that and BTW language filter is just for sissies)
To run out of coke/pepsi when playing (ruins the whole day)

Lazy selfish fucks that don't emphasize any teamwork and just sit around on their fat asses doing nothing.

10 or 20  lame ducks waiting on the US carrier deck for 1 plane or 1 chopper is annoying.
NOBODY of them getting in the AA guns to AT LEAST  scare off any hostile jets like the J- 10  is more annoying to me.

ITS NOT SO HARD TO SHOOT PLANES DOWN WITH THE  ESSEX AA GUNS Q@
You have a PhaLanx gattling gun and 8 missiles , or 16 missiles if people were not too #$%$&  lazy to walk over to the 2nd AA turret.
Instead of doing somethnig about it, they rather cry: "Mommy, jet is baseraping , ..."'

2nd most annoying thing: having a commander who has no clue, being on a server that has mutiny disabled.

3rd: "You have lost the connection with the server"-messages, whenever you installed/launched a new patch again.

Dying from claymores.
I think people are just careless when it comes to claymores.  I have over a 12 to 1 k/d ratio with claymores because I use them in strategic locations........but, if people would go slowly and check in places where claymores are LIKELY to be, they could avoid a lot of claymore related deaths.  I think that's why I've only been killed by them 18 times in 500 hours of play.  Whenever I approach a place or an area that I expect to be full of claymores (ie, the TV station on Sharqi or Warlord)........I go slow, and peek around corners......if I see a claymore......I try to find another way around.  Sometimes....you can even get past claymores if you are careful (like, a well timed jump....or sometimes people are stupid about placing them, and you can just walk around the back of the claymore).

And always be careful of the sniper that peeks around a corner, shoots at you, and then ducks away.  Resist the urge to run after him.  I know one of my favorite tactics while being sniper is to shoot at someone basically to get their attention........when they see me, I duct behind a corner.......toss down a claymore, and run.  Almost inevitably they come after me and *boom*.

So basically, long story even longer.......what I'm trying to say is dying from claymores is something that can for the most part be avoided.  You can't do anything about everyone standing around on a carrier and not capping, except go cap flags yourself.........but you're still at the mercy of the entire other team while yours is doing the circle jerk on the airstrip.

My experience is that even if you sneak around looking for them, someone else will walk right into it killing both of you and anyone else in a 15 foot radius. Also on the TV station, if you are trying to do a timed jump over it, someone will either set it off, or people above you will hurl nades and more claymores down on your ass.

I've even shouted in mic claymore claymore, and still watch my squad mates walk into them - they are pretty damn annoying now that grenades don't remove them. The only proven method is having like 3 medics chase a bunch of guys up the stairwells reviving the mass carnage. Thats not fun, not balanced, and so far from realistic that even though I know the game isn't supposed to be real, some things could at least have a little effort put into it.

If DICE wasn't so fucking lazy they could have seperated the code from AT Mines, so that grenades would blow claymores but not mines. Nope, it is all about quick fixes and a fast buck. Go team!
