hmmm... in a 4v4 or 5v5 it's not advisable to drop a soldier altogether.. but with so many medics PB is right. A SL who stays hidden will be necessary to get rid of clays (although, if they've got supply crates, it'll be a bit harder)

In the end we just have to get close so We > Snipers. on Wake, for example, us medics are f*cked when it comes to any long distance fights on that map. If all the 'mindless grunts' (thanks for the compliment by the way) keep rushing while the squad leader takes cover and advances behind his team then we can keep on pushing until we get close enough.

I seriously doubt that even a fifth of the snipers who have signed up could get a headshot on a moving, bunny hopping, dolphin diving, or prone spamming target. Just keep those medpacks going!

On the topic of medpacks and headshots, remember that you can toss down 2-3 medpacks, lie on top of them, and spare yourself from any non-headshot bullets.

As we're allowed to use transport vehicles (heh, I can just imagine the snipers swimming to shore on Wake) I wonder if Nyte is going to be using his claymore-vehicle-trick.

I want to find the medic reporting thread again, I'm coming, fuck what my ping says. I have CAL and TWL experience and I can second exactly what polarz said.

The other SLs and the commander himself must have match experience. It might be a massive battle compared to 5/8v5/8, but it's still different tactics.

This is true, and especially on Wake we should all train with singleshot if not all the time. After that, the majority of the sniper team can only take us out with semi auto snipers.

Ive talked to numbers and hes chosen and in the procces of choosing the players, he just wants a strong team not random choosing.

obviously uv never seen me play then. if every1 is a medic, then you can afford to have every1 go in, as there will alwys be sum1 to revive you (well 90% of the time). the clayore thing will be no problem as of the above. squad leaders SHUD stay back, but that wont happen most of the time.

Yeah I'd LOVE to see the 'medic cloud' get obliterated by a few bunny hopping clay spamming snipers. Hell, 4 snipers spamming claymores is enough to blast a wide open path through the crush at hotel, what more 32 of the fucking wookies?

Look, I'm not playing, so its fine by you to give the finger to whatever I say, but well, the SL way to mushroom onto a point and overwhelming it by constant waves of spawning AND reviving is going to be the fastest method. Not your stupid idea of trying to overwhelm the enemy ala The Golden Horde.

The squad leader thing is tough, but I think I want the best players to NOT be them. This way they can focus on doing their thing, and having a mobile spawn point.

This is one hell of a task to get this whole thing together, whoever questioned the organization may have a little bit of point.  I think its actually quite good, considering how  quickly things came together. Basically before the date and time was set, it was a little chaotic. Now that I know we have some time, I've opted to wait for selections responses, and take things one step at a time.

Also, that medic forum is awsome, just registerd.
