I see it sometimes as well. I always thought it was the same person that typed it in at beginning of a round. Not sure if ppl are just messing around or if it's software related.

I saw it a minute ago, exactly like a normal chat message. Thought it might be a hack to find out where enemy players are located because of the 'exists' part, and that it had been accidentally typed into chat instead of console I asked people what it meant and noone had an answer. I punched it into google and found a Japanese BF2 wiki. ( http://bf2.xxz.jp/wiki/?FAQ ). There was a section heading marked 'no_conversion_exists'. Google translate didn't cope with the passage in question but altavista came up with:

' The serious injury ' will not be revival possible and like this it seems that is visible other than this person who spoke that ' at the time of death ' state, it tries to speak at the entire kyat of J key. Before the game starting which finishes the map load ' with like death ' treatment, the conversation which exceeds the fence of the camp by the entire kyat is not formed.

I sounds like it's something todo with typing chat messages at the end of a round whilst getting a critical injury, but the translation is piss poor so it could mean anything.

btw, google define:kyat says it means the basic unit of money in Myanmar ?!?!?

It just means they got a version of the game in a different language and what they said just couldn't be converted into your language.

anyway, the reason is that it happens when someone using a different alphabet than your version types a message in game. If your version only has english commands and text you will get that when he/she types ingame. perhaps we can leave it there rather than turn it into a flame fest?
