I like flying jets, mainly the MIG, because its awesome and it handles unlike any other jet. I'm very good at bombing, yet dog fighting is my weakest point. I can still take on the average player dog fighting, but its those good high ranking pilots that always get me, now I know its just there moves are better than mine and they probably know the art of dog fighting in BF2 better than me.
Now the main discussion of this topic is a little move alot of pilots do. Its when the enemy pilot im chasing flips upside down, then pushes forward on his joystick. So hes basically gaining altitude but in an upside down manner, and the AA missles never seem to hit it. Its like some weird problem the AA missles have with hitting a plane doing this. Its even worse when the pilot im chaseing does it everytime I lock onto him. Eventually I got used to it and I dont lock on, I just use the gun.
Is there any explanation as to why the AA missles cant hit a jet doing this particular move?
