I like flying jets, mainly the MIG, because its awesome and it handles unlike any other jet. I'm very good at bombing, yet dog fighting is my weakest point. I can still take on the average player dog fighting, but its those good high ranking pilots that always get me, now I know its just there moves are better than mine and they probably know the art of dog fighting in BF2 better than me.

Now the main discussion of this topic is a little move alot of pilots do. Its when the enemy pilot im chasing flips upside down, then pushes forward on his joystick. So hes basically gaining altitude but in an upside down manner, and the AA missles never seem to hit it. Its like some weird problem the AA missles have with hitting a plane doing this. Its even worse when the pilot im chaseing does it everytime I lock onto him. Eventually I got used to it and I dont lock on, I just use the gun.

Is there any explanation as to why the AA missles cant hit a jet doing this particular move?

Nice guide, but I just want to know why this one particular move confuses the missles? I was just playing Kubra and some guy kept doing the move. I was in the MIG and himself in the F15. I shot him down with the MG, but all my AA missles missed.

It only works with the F-18, so either you're talking about the wrong jet or one of you had bad ping. Or the server sucked.

sarge sucks me ftw!
You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.

It works well with the bombers, atleast its more effective than doing a a regular backwards loop.  Really I dont know why they miss, but they do.  I find that waiting for them to stop doing this move and have dropped their flares is the best time to fire.

The bombers are easy kills...

For the pilot,copilot,and enemy jets/aa.

not always, they are a lot easier to kill than other jets, but if you do the right things in a bomber you might be able to toss off the enemy jets and get up high.  That is where the bombers are good, because they are slow they can go into the 1000m level and stay in enough control to survive.

bombers are really easy to hit... things are massive, and not as fast. They rock at killing ground targets, <3 LGMs. I do really good with the US jet on WAKE, not the F35B, the other that spawns at the airfield F18/15, turning with it IS a bitch. That's just me, I use mouse and KB

I saw it working perfectly for a Su-34 I was chasing once on Kubra.

This specific move works for all jets. I've seen all jets do it. Its quite frustrating.
I wonder if I flipped upside down with the jet and fired my missles, maybe I need to be "on the same playing field" so to speak.

I'm not even going to try.
