The setpoint does more than that. It makes your mouse buttone all weird also. If you use to just mapping your buttons through windows dont use the setpoint. It really does suck and does pose some problems. Especially with the thumb side button(i use it for TS ) The preset DPI without Setpoint with plug and Play are on the fly high is 2000(or 3000) med(1200) Low(800) As i remember. I use default plug and play. Its works wonderfully. Use high to fly, med for ground and low to snipe.VspyVspy wrote:
The default is 3 settings (I'm at work and don't know the numbers)
If you install the setpoint software that comes with it, you can pre program up to 5 settings with the lowest setting at 400DPI and the highest at 2000DPI.
I read somewhere on these forums that the setpoint software takes up 17Mb of RAM but I haven't confirmed this.
Hope this helps?

Well my G5 came in, and i have my DPI settings at, 400-800-1200-1600-2000 And in order for you to make ur side scrolls, and thumb buttons work, you can go into your loader, or whatever its called and program your buttons to a key stroke ( ] [ = etc.). and thats what i did Works great for me.Fred[OZ75] wrote:
Got a G5, great mouse when I got use to it and love the dpi settings, very handy.
Problem I've had with it is trying to get BF2 to allow me to set either of sideways scroll buttons or BF2142 to set anything except the two main buttons and the scroll... guess I just need to play with the setting some more.
I did the same, works great.Gravity wrote:
