Another favorite of mine: Chasing around a buggy full of guys in our own buggy (As china) around the beaches of Wake Island. Why does usa have that shitty little buggy that can't shoot behind itself??

I love IO servers! All ground pounding, grinding out the win with a working squad, trying to out smart the other team! I love this game! Its the best game I have ever played. even though there are some problems, find me a game that has none. hackers, glitchers, and pwners, all make it fun! Just find the out and get the kill. my stats suck and I still play every chance I get, 5 or 6 days a week. So thank you all for a great time! bonedoc69

Rounds like the one I had the other day on the BF2S AU server. It might have been IO on Jalalabad but it was still ace. Lead a brilliant squad and our average score was about 130...

Walking up to someone with your knife out, they pull out theirs and run toward you, you pull out your M11-87 and give them radical facial reconstruction.

Getting 100+ points with commander, then get 2x for a win.

Going into a sniping match with an L96A1-armed enemy sniper with your pistol........and winning.

Going commander, and camping at a remote location to do your commanding. You then see this lone dot come toward you - the enemy commander. You look at him through the birds-eye view, and you notice that as he gets closer you he is checking your location - while you are still lying there, looking as if you're concentrating on the main battle. You close the command menu, look at the corner to see him come creeping around, line up a headshot, then -

I am a fan of IO also really, I'll play it sure. Pistol and knife is actually a load of fun, I know its more of a stat padding server, but it is a blast. Because all the guns are fair, and do the same damage. Its more about teamwork and accuracy then anything!

I'll also play vehicles, because there is more to that game, more strategy, more action, more fighting. Although its not level fighting. IO allows for an even playing field for all people in more ways then one.

I wish there was an option to sort out the IO servers when you want to!

Holy crap, the list you gave, is that accurate? So far of all registered players there are only 2 with the European Union Ribbon, and 3 with the Airborne Specialist Ribbon, 500 with expert armor etc. Thats pretty cool, shit I'm gonna work on my Expert Armor so I can feel proud to be in the group with 500 other players =P

Dice or Ea had an ingenious idea with all the rewards/ribbons/metals. I think that is another thing I enjoy about the game. Gettin rewards

p.s - where does it show my rank among all other players?

Recently I have been going squad leader quite a lot on pubs. I didn't realise how cool it can be when each member sticks together. Quite suprised that they actaully follow my orders pretty much 100%. It has been fun leading the squad and team to victory. And rewarding seeing myself and each squad member at or near the top of the score board.

all my mates stopped playing bf2 a while back so im stuck with pub sadly. i like it when squads of random nubs like myself can change a game by sticking together. however i have to say that for no rational reason IT REALLY NOBS ME OFF WHEN PEEPS DONT SPAWN ON THE SL, i dunno why tbh, it just does. oh er yer i do know why. coz a team mate two flags away isnt much help usually lol :s

Spending what seems like minutes in a 1 on 1 infantry, and topping the other guy because you were a better player. No AI can emulate a human insane opponent.

One time, being AT on Kubra Dam, running up to recap a base in the north valley that had been taken, then a MEC chopper flies up. He takes 5 or 6 gun runs at me. I miss him, just , about 3 or 4 times. I can tell he is getting the sh!ts at me because it is taking so long to kill me. Then he gets me. But it was fun. Still makes me laugh. ... Then a respawned, got a vehicle, drove back and capped it because he had left ...

Sitting on top of a building giving cover fire, and watching another squad tear up your part of the map in perfect formation, rolling over the bad guys with cover fire, and thinking "Those guys are good ...."

Killing a tank while AT, when it was just you and the tank.

Blowing up tanks with C4 in urban. I only just started trying spec ops, and it was a blast.

Getting revived by a medic, and then killing the guys that got you.

Shooting down choppers with AT. And thinking "You're not getting the deposit back on that rental ..." while watching their burning wreck crash into the ground ...

Jumping into a buggy with a driver you have never played with before, and having him set you up for great shots every time.
