How does it now work? Can you not bring it up? Because that is viri. Or if you say its a Windows Update wait a week and it'll be fixed.

Thank you. I've worked my whole life to get to the point of making shitty puns, analogies and metaphors. You have confirmed that this goal is now complete.

Try this:

Go to Start, then Run, and type regedit, and follow these here.
User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
Value Name: DisableTaskMgr
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = default, 1 = disable Task Manager)

If the value is set to 1 Task Manager will be disabled. By returning it to it's default value of 0 it can be re-enabled.

Try that.

Exactly. The aromatherapist sets is DAMN straight! my guess is that it's a virus also. Otherwise, open windows in safe mode, then try seeing if task manager opens up. Also, have you tried running it without hitting ctrl+alt+delete?

Maybe you disabled that key combo?!?! Can that happen? I don't know. Man, computers are just fucked up...

Start > Run > taskmgr.exe
