Ok, so ever since I installed one of the microsoft updates my task manager wont work? anyone else have this problem? can you help me fix it?
That's usually a sign of a virus... Run an AV program.

How does it now work? Can you not bring it up? Because that is viri. Or if you say its a Windows Update wait a week and it'll be fixed.

Try this:
Go to Start, then Run, and type regedit, and follow these here.
User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
Value Name: DisableTaskMgr
Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data: (0 = default, 1 = disable Task Manager)
If the value is set to 1 Task Manager will be disabled. By returning it to it's default value of 0 it can be re-enabled.
Try that.

Exactly. The aromatherapist sets is DAMN straight! my guess is that it's a virus also. Otherwise, open windows in safe mode, then try seeing if task manager opens up. Also, have you tried running it without hitting ctrl+alt+delete?Cheez wrote:
