Thanks to New Zealand's stone-age and monopolistic telecommunications, I can get pings of over 1000 on New Zealand ad Australian servers sometimes for no reason. Often it averages at around 400-500 and when it's working I get pings of around 90-100 on local, (Aus and NZ,) servers.

I try to play on any server less than 70ms, but thanks to Australia's telecom I get massive ping spikes (from 40 up to 280 then down to 50 and back up to 270) now and then. It gets really annoying in vehicles, especially when I'm driving. The passengers usually get out and shoot me because they lag, being in the same car.
