Close to the same here, although my typical good-server pings are 30-50.

When the connection here is okay (not all the time, because of contention ratio?) I can just about play at ~150, depending on the server. Some servers with pings above 120 I get better response than on closer hosts where it's 60-80, since packet loss is probably more important to crappy response than anything.

Thanks to New Zealand's stone-age and monopolistic telecommunications, I can get pings of over 1000 on New Zealand ad Australian servers sometimes for no reason. Often it averages at around 400-500 and when it's working I get pings of around 90-100 on local, (Aus and NZ,) servers.
I will hear NO-ONE complaining of 150 pings! 150 pings are awesome!

Death to Telecom!
I fucking hate Telecom!
So your trying to tell me that on your shit days I, a person in Taiwan can get better ping then you I get around 200 ping on NZ servers but 340 on Aus...
Yeah I'm a little confused too, I know guys in Melbourne and out-in-the-sticks with me who get pings of 60 to Xtra and ICONZ. And mind you the way out is up via Sydney.

I get 26's (to GA/In). Maybe less once I'm moved to Internode (Goodbye Westnet, Hello value for money!).

I try to play on any server less than 70ms, but thanks to Australia's telecom I get massive ping spikes (from 40 up to 280 then down to 50 and back up to 270) now and then.  It gets really annoying in vehicles, especially when I'm driving.  The passengers usually get out and shoot me because they lag, being in the same car.
Thanks for trying to help, but my connection is so shit that i can't download (even DAWNload, thanks DonFck) Xfire.
