Hey guys
Just wanted to know your opinons about this subject. Humanitarian aid in Africa sum up to 400G $ aproximately since 1960. Actually, we can't report great improvements. People are still hungry, homeless, and schools are still missing in lots of countries. Plus, millions of people die of AIDS each year.
So, what do you think is the main reason why humanitarian aid didn't solve much problems ? Personally, I think that the 2 main reasons are that the aid is not sent to the right objective (short-time aid rather than developement aid). Secondly, governements are corrupted, and the biggest part of the money is not distributed to the civilians.
If you have any documents, articles, etc, feel free to share them.
