That's valid, although he has harder parts to play (I can play the solo shown above, but not his other stuff) that he does out in front. And Petrucci is always in the light, and Portnoy doesn't get enough credit - drumming takes the most out of you in these shows, I would know.Varegg wrote:

For all people that have ever stood on a stage like that have felt the immense heat from the lights directly above, i think he retreats a little to cool down when the difficult parts of his play are performed for better concentration !
