As we all know america wants to install a missile defence system in Europe id say to protect allot of countrys from the threat of possible attacks
which in this day and age is so un-predictable...Can we honestly pin point and say the countrys who are 100% side by side with one another because things in the middle east are allmost at boiling point and with so many countrys involved each has there own rules im british and i can say i feel that our country is not directly under threat apart from muslim extremists in our country ......but yet cant help feel that countrys like china/russia havent shown there cards completly in this world and if there ever was a world war 3 which i hope never happens whos side would they take because nuclear content has arrived on this planet in way of destruction one can only assume that yes..they are for defence purposes but one day will be used to unleash hell in a part of the world-
Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that US plans to build a missile defence system in eastern Europe would raise the risk of "mutual destruction".
Poland and the Czech Republic are keen to allow the US to site missile bases and radars on their territory.
Mr Putin spoke a day after threatening to halt involvement with a treaty limiting conventional arms in Europe.
"The threat of causing mutual damage and even destruction increases many times," he told Russian media.
"This is not just a defence system, this is part of the US nuclear weapons system," the Itar-Tass news agency quoted him as saying after meeting Czech President Vaclav Klaus.
Russia has test-launched a new intercontinental ballistic missile, Russian military officials say.
The launch took place at the Plesetsk cosmodrome in northern Russia at 1420 (1020 GMT) on Tuesday.
The missile, called RS-24, can be armed with up to 10 warheads and was designed to evade missile defence systems, the Russian defence ministry says.
Russia has complained that US plans to base parts of an anti-missile system in central Europe threaten its security.
The Americans maintain that their system is not directed at the Russians.
The US wants to deploy interceptor rockets in Poland and a radar base in the Czech Republic to counter what it describes as a potential threat from "rogue states" such as Iran and North Korea.
The Russian test missile successfully struck its target 5,500km (3,400 miles) away on the far eastern Kamchatka peninsula, the Russian Strategic Missile Forces said.
The statement said the missile would replace two ageing ICBM systems - the RS-18 and RS-20, known in the West as the SS-19 Stiletto and SS-18 Satan, respectively.
is this all wrong or is russia playing the power icon now saying were here and need to be listened to !!!
