I am in the Air Force and am stationed on a small island where a lot of releases come out later here than the states.  That said, SF just got here last Thursday.  I was so excited that I checked our BX everyday after its inital relase to see if they had received it.  When they did I ran home and installed it.  I have played it a couple of times over the past week and I must say it is a bit of a dissappointment.  The lag on the net sucks.  The maps are a definite plus.  I love the night maps, more covert action.  The weapons arent much different contray to what people believe.  Nothing fantastic though.  I think it may end up going the road of BF:Road to ROme or BF:Secret Weapons.  That said what do you think?




QUESTION:  IF you are not within range of the flag but still give support of capturing the flag, should they give points based on that?

I've played it once now too. It was okay I reckon, your points are valid. It's nice to have the new maps and grappling hooks/zip lines rule. Grappling hooks more than ziplines though, although it is fun to zip from the top of that hill to the shed roof in Mass Destruction.

...man... you know I have really sharp toe-nail. I mean relaly sharp, it's like a point. I can't believe I didn't notice it before. Shit it's sharp, I'm going to have to cut it off.

Okay, I've got it off. Seriously, it's like a triangle. I can't believe I didn't notice it. Strange the things you notice when you're bored shitless.

Okay, and to you question; no you shouldn't get points for supporting a flag capture. If you get kills, there's your reward.

I think that's part of the prob - there should be more differences in play style, more than just new guns and a couple of tools. instead of artillery, the commander should get some other device to play with...

yeh like a GOOD arty strike maybe, that actually killed something. Artillery sucks. If you place artillery exactly where u want it to hit, say on a sniper, every shell will miss and the sniper will carry on unbeknownst he was just oin the middle of a strike. You have to hope they stupidly run into the strike. I say EA should add heatseaking artillery shells that home in on the enemies. Well to an extent so as to not chase them around the map with a giant artillery shell...  XD
