Cool thanks. I was searching froogle and newegg a couple weeks ago and wasn't able to find any However, $300 is too much for me right now. I guess I'll settle with half the quality for half the price right now.

Heh, I just realized I'm such a greedy bastard. I should probably save my money and just go with the 8800, but I want this computer and I want it now! But in looking at charts, the X1950 pro still performs pretty well, and significantly better than the 8600.

I have an E6550 which is a cheap dual core to buy. It runs at 2.33GHz but is easily overclocked. I have mine running at 2.7Ghz

dual core at least, with a budget of $1000, you can buy a decent quad-core system, 8800GT and at least 2 gigs of 800Mhz ram.
