Both these cards are no good for running the latest games on a smooth setting, you need to be looking at an 8800GT, or ATI 3870. But it all depends on your budget, but if you get one of those cards, you are just wasting your money imhoJackabo wrote:
the only real games i play or COD and wow and atm im running an ati radeon x300 with 128mb of memory. I have a nice screen and i was gonna get a new dell with the card i mentioned above and get a new monitor with it so i could have dual. As long as the above card is better than my current one i don't mind
so is it?
what does different time zones have to do with bumping your own thread?, (after only 4 mins)????Airwolf wrote:

Also, why the hell would you buy dual monitors? That is a huge WASTE of money and it is completely pointless and unnecessary.Jackabo wrote:

What benefits? Running the desktop on one end and a game on the other? Or running a game on both monitors and having a space in the middle? I really couldnt think of any benefits to it at all unless you really had alot of spare cash on your hands or were a mad multitasker. Having dual monitors would make me commit suicide because of my odd habit of having to have everything centered.aimless wrote:

You don't know the benefits of having dual monitors unless you actually use them yourself. I have 2 dell flat panels and I love them to death.

I used to run dual 1024x768 LCDs back in the day. Kickass, really. IRC on one, web browser on another.Dragonclaw wrote:
