Sud, Seth both have valid points there hmm?.

Bah. If C4/AT/Claymores had to be planted the way IRL, it'll take in excess of 5 seconds each. And they can reduce the reqs for Explosive Badge to what? 3/5/7?

Instead of complaining try adapting. Complaining like a little bitch about it just makes you look as bad as people who cried about bunny hopping in the first place. Let's not stoop to those levels, show these little cry babies that you can still wipe the floor with them without needed to bunny hop.
I dont bunny-hop, I just press sprint and runaway like a coward!

I bunny hop when I have my knife out...  It tends to frustrate people.  Somebody said to me "I can't wait until that new patch, you won't be able to do that."  Funny thing is he was bunny hopping away from me while shooting.  What an idiot.

I also bunny hop when I'm knifing, are you expected to run straight at them while you are being shot at by DAO's, PKM's or the like.  I think there is nothing wrong with bunny hopping, except for the c4 throwing.

I just like to add this since so many complain about bunny jumping not being realistic.

* Is hoovering with an helicopter and looping sideways 360 degrees realistic?
* I often use cars to get down quickly to the flag at kubra dam by driving down from the top of the dam to the center flag and the car make it, me too after falling 30m in a car, is that realistic?
* U can use the parachute after like 3-4m, is that realistic?

no, no and no... Ppl complain about bunny jumping because it's psychic and because they've learned the word itself, "bunny jumping"

btw, somebody sneaked up on me from behind last night when I was guarding a flag in a ground defence machine gun, one of those in a half shed, I heard two knife blade swings so I bunny jumped out and ran around to the other side. Looking in the guy was still there waving the knife lying and I fed him with my smg.

To quote EA "It's in the game".  Heck if its the game and it doesn't bend rules you know... such as going inside of a wall you aren't supposed to be able to go in, then use it.  I get mad when I get owned by a bunny hopping GL whore but hell, its in the game, at least until the patch comes out.

You thought metals like lead and brass are as strong and hard as steel?

You have a point - but at the same time, you have to realize how unbalanced bunnyhopping is:

1.  Look at how high your toon in the game jumps vs how high a real person jumpe.

The average real person might jump 2-2.5 feet.  The toon in the game jumps like 5.

2.  How many times in a row can you jump that hight without getting tired?

...nuff said.

3.  Try firing a gun while jumping like that, and see how accurate you are.

...again, 'nuff said.

One of the best anti-hopping patches I ever saw didn't eliminate it, but made it much less effective, by doing 2 things:

1.  Making firing your weapon wildly innaccurate while jumping
2.  Making successive jumps less and less powerful - IE first jump 2', second jump 1', 3rd jump .5' etc (and slowing forward movement ewually).  If you left a few seconds between each hop, you wouldn't suffer the penalty.

That sounds like a reasonable compromise to me.  Yes, I know this isn't "reality" but it is unbalanced, and should be a bit equalized.  When I'm prone and someone can bunnyhop 20 yards to me while I'm unloading an M-60 clip into him (without hitting him at that close of a range) the bunnyhopping is a bit unbalanced...

The most annoying type of bunnies, bunny-hopping with shotguns!
Ive seen this tecnique being used, not only in bf2, but in the WW2 shooter: Call of Duty 2!, and others!

Personally, I think this would fix a lot of the problem.  The only other thing that would need to be added would be the distance fuse on the GL.  IMO, this would eliminate the majority of the bunny hopping complaints (as well as greatly reduce the amount of bunny hopping.

I don't hit anything while shooting and jumping in the game, same for me in irl and in the game

Your fix sollution though sounds quite resonable

Medial bag with good drugs. I'm not throwing that anywhere.
Yeah, never mind that the medics are flopping around, going prone, and rolling (at least graphically) all over their instruments.
Somking the "medical" stuff thats in the bags:D lol
