How do you get yourself up in the morning?

I have to get up at 7am on weekdays. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't then have to walk 20 mins to the train station and then get on a packed stuffy train and then walk another 20 mins to school.

I usually use this technique for getting up. I keep my eyes wide open for about 10 seconds to prevent falling back to sleep and then spring up out of bed. I usually have a headache after doing this.

How do you guys get out of bed?

The dog wakes me up, shes only young and wants to play 24/7, so shes always making sure I stay up if I try and fall back to sleep again

I set 5 phone alarms and use the worst ring tone I have to wake up to. I wake up after the second alarm.

By the third time the alarm rings from repeated 'snoozes', I can't get back to a restful sleep and I start to wake up.

That, or put the alarm clock across the room. However, I'm so vindictive that I will go shut it off and go back to sleep regardless of important appointments of the day just to prove a point to the alarm clock.

If it's the alarm, I give it about 30 minutes of pressing the snooze button.

My youngest of 4 cats, loves to come in and jump on my body at 4-5am. If that doesnt do it, the n she will lick my chin until I react. Not a pleasant way to wake up in the morning to be sure.
If the cat sleeps thru morning call, then my internal clock wakes me up no later than 0530...its a curse. I havent slept past 0530 in more than 20 years...

Thats me! i have too or will wake up switch it off and go back to sleep without even waking up.
Or when i'm really tired get up switch it off and go back bed without even remembering.

Or i use my second option,my daughter slapping me on the face telling me to wake up! (6am)
