I have to get up at 7am on weekdays. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't then have to walk 20 mins to the train station and then get on a packed stuffy train and then walk another 20 mins to school.
I usually use this technique for getting up. I keep my eyes wide open for about 10 seconds to prevent falling back to sleep and then spring up out of bed. I usually have a headache after doing this.
