Money whores, people who would compromise their ethics for more power/money, professional slanderers...I guess I would just pick from the already available cesspool, so yeah, no doubt.

I could talk gibberish for a good hour and a half.  Restate my entire platform while avoiding the question, state how the other candidate's platform is not what America wants, deliver a poorly written joke...yeah, sure.

Could you come up with the rights ideas to solve Americas problems ?

Probably not all of them, but life would be more fun than death and taxes.

Could you stand to watch TV with citizens criticizing your every move, your every word ?

I would syndicate myself as a reality show where the cameras follow me - getting drunk and arguing (with a nervous breakdown scene), trying to find "the one" (at least 3 seasons worth), and a part where the cameras follow me doing inane tasks around the house.

Could you stand to have your life be put underneath a microscope ?

Better than squishing me under one!  I don't know what kind of bacteria they would find though, so it really wouldn't be that interesting.  I didn't blow lines in the '80s or get medals in real war, and I don't have an African grandmama.

FUCK NO.  you'd have to sell your morals to get enough support.  You'd have to buy in to corruption, if you weren't involved in the corruption, you'd never get enough backing to get in.

With politics these days, you HAVE TO be a scumbag just to be a candidate with any chance of winning, IMO.

I would not. I wouldn't do a good job, and would end up turning my brain into soup.
