I'll wager $50 that a fair amount of their members are illegals (escaping the law in El Salvador). I'll wager $50 more that if we had a wall, maybe with a large guarding force behind it, they wouldn't have gotten in here so easily.

So far, the only real thing that is working is to fine employers hiring illegals..in Arizona. This has sent them red-ass Mexican greesers back into Mexico and it's pissing off their president (yes, they have an illegal alien problem..their own people returning from the parking lots of America!). What's funny is the Mexican president is blaming the US on their influx of immigrants like we owe them an explanation or help taking care of them...their financial situation worsens too!

Imagine if we added the costs of their 12 million countrymen/women to their trade costs..or sent them a bill directly for educating, hospitalizing, feeding, and housing them.

As for the criminal element..they're just a byproduct of the 12 million + illegals flowing freely into our country. I like the land mine/sniper/pits of molten lava/sharks with laserbeams solution the best...no warning shots, leave the bodies in the desert as examples to others. THe flow would STOP.

Yes, Very true. But the only thing that protect MS-13 is the legalities it takes to put them away the legal way.

MS-13 members, generally, are bullied into, or join for protection (read: pussies) and then grow balls from numbers. Shoot a few of them and let them know the community fights fire with fire.

Now that too is gang mentality really, so it's not the right answer, which I said. But I'd rather have armed neigbors that don't take shit from gangs, rather than have drug pushing, doped up, crime loving, low intelligence, gang bangers in my nieghborhood.

I live on an Island. My wall is miles and miles of sea. It doesn't stop someone set on entering your country... You'd have to make the wall 50 feet underground, 100 feet above ground and 10 feet thick. Then you might see a reduction in illegals, not a complete stop.

How true is that, we continue to try and be ethical and it produces no results. When we do find an illegal immigrant, we put them on a bus *sarcasm* hand them a bag lunch /sarcasm and see them on their way so they can try again later. Unethical solutions are sometimes the most practical and effective to ending our issues. However would the minefield idea hold up when gang members start using women and children to be scouts and what not?
