Here is the deal, a week ago I started a new "ownzor" profile to go messing around in jets and choppers and get a nice kd ratio, I did rather well with a 5.7 kd ratio overall and a 73 kd in the jets. Then came the day where me and my clan should play the first round in the danish online championship, and suddenly, my infantry skills were gone.

So my question is, have any of you tried a sudden lapse in skills, and how do I get them back?

Practice makes perfect. TBH your not going to go pwning nubs in the choppers and Jets and expect to be amazing at infantry. Just play IO for a while and you'll relinquish your skillz.

There is no more noobs to own, since they all went to BF2142.

Anyways..

I usually have that.. some days I will get owned to the point where I have to quit the game, and other days, I just completely own everything...

You know when you get that "groove"..

Like I'll be flying a J-10 on day, going 50-0.. then next thing you know i'm crashing into trees on take-off..

Shit happens.

Maybe they were never there and just have realized that .

But anyways... Yeah, I find that if I spend too much time of the ground I get a lil' rusty with my other skills too.
I just tend to mix it up all of the time, avoiding the problem all together.

If Practice makes Perfect, and you can never be perfect? Why Practice?

You played against an organized team

There are less noobs now then when BF2 first came out so it was easier to get good stats back then. The noobs are still here, just not in abundance.

That's the difference

I think you meant replenish, to relinquish them would be to give them up.

It happens to a lot of people every now and then that you'll just be a little sucky. And sometimes if you're doing poorly (not necessarily really badly, but poorly by your standards) you'll do worse when you realize you're not doing well. And hey, some games you just can't catch a break!

Hehe, recover. The problem he's reporting is that he's relinquished his skills

Hmm, well all I can say that being a very good all rounder in this game is hard.

I've just got my infantry skills back to where they should be, but now I go and try to TV and I miss 50% of my shots where I would miss maybe 10% while I was playing a whole ton of Wake.

All I can say is it doesn't take too much to get infantry skills back, I'm not all that good, but mine came back to me after a little while.

Play a few rounds of IO in servers with with at most 32 people in and you'll start to get them back.
