It's doable to hit J10 with missiles, but it's all about timing. But it's pretty hard, and usually the J10 outturns you and when you abort your attack he is on your tail and then you better have some nice flying skills. But it's possible, just see the f35b as a challange, I take down a j10 every now and then.

The hit rate for missles on the J-10 is extremely low. Only on some servers that run smoothly with a low load and low pings does your hit rate go up. Using an F-35 it is near impossible to get a lock on to a J-10 long enough to fire a missle. Then it has flares. And then it has the low hit rate. And any half-decent pilot that checks his rear can out-turn an F-35 before it can complete its lock.
And should the dude in the F-35 know how to bypass the lock time (yeah you can do it) J-10 dude can still flare him and even if he doesn't, unless if he reacts late, he can still turn fast enough to dodge the missles.
Using my best moves, tactics, tricks, confusions, bug abuse, and timing can I take out normal pilots in J-10's. I doubt that any of you could come close to it. Ego? yup. Listen to him, it's the truth. Although I have noticed one thing. In the J 10 I always open lock, wait for flares maybe, and let 2 missiles go. Then reevaluate. Now in the last couple of days, after a friends advice, I found something that one MIGHT be able to say helps a bit. When in the f35, I've noticed that I can get one missile to hit almost everytime if I get FAR behind the J10, but still within missile range. Then open up and release all missiles. Almost everytime now, I've gotten one to hit, and then MG's is much easier. But still as Sarge said, if it's a good pilot, you're fucked no matter what way you slice the bread.
