Don't know why, but recently I've found out a lot of people here play cs.  Personally, I miss cs (although I still own it, I barely play it), so I thought of a cool idea to play with some fellow bf2ers with one tiny exception, the game will take place in the cs world

I would like this to be CS 1.6 (I only own a torrented CS:S that I can play online, but only on certain servers) because atm I dont have a legit CS:S and I think more people may own 1.6.

I will eventually find a date and time, but just to get a sense of how many people may want in, just tell me if you're interested.

I dont have a server, so I was thinking I may just be able to find an empty one, unless somebody here has one or could provide a dedicated server.....

Even though I'll provide more specifics later, if I decide to go through with everything, I would like you to play on your bf2 names so we know who you are....

so.....um, yeah.

Looks like your leaving Sh1fy2k5.  There are people here who enjoy a lot of FPS games.  People here play BF2, BF1942, HL2, CS, CS:S, BF2142, and many more.

I been playing a cross of BF2 - 2142 - and CS:s

Believe it or not - with the max'd out recoil on guns in CS:s and the aim has to increase BF2 is so much easier...
Went back to BF2 the other day after a week or so practicing on Cs:S and i kicked ass!!

I'll join if the event happens

Do you own 1.6 though?  I would like the event to be played on 1.6, and if enough people dont have it, ill just go buy source....but for now, I wanna see how many people own 1.6

I only have CS:S, but plan on getting 1.6 soon. I'll checking on this, and if I have 1.6 by whatever date I'll join.

if not ill just go get source, what's 20 bucks to me....and I wouldnt mind either, at first, making the gap between 1.6 (which ive played for like 3-4 years) and source was quite hard at first, but Ive gotten quite good now.

Only reason I never bought it is because I knew I wouldnt play it that much.

So, I go to google and type counter-strike source torrent.

Boom, I download the CS:S digitalzone standalone CS:S and have the option to play on about 75 servers online......lol.....

Actually, Ive wanted to know if people who own the LEGIT source can play on the same servers I can....Anybody want to test that out right now?  If so, just post and ill give you an IP and my player name...

CSS is for noobs, I find alot of 5 year olds play that. I got 1.6 but I have become so shit at it from BF2 I cry when I get owned by high pitched voices.

I could test if you want, I'll be gone in a few hours but would be more than happy to help out until then. My name is Flaming_Maniac in source too.
