So, today, the day after Thanksgiving, has come and gone.  The happiest day of the year for all the shopacholic wives around the states and possibly the world (you guys will have to let me know if that is true).  Each year on this Friday our wives spend what little we have managed to save over the last 12 months and anything they anticipate us to make over the next 6.

So how much did your wife spend? 1,2,3 thousand dollars?  Karma to the man with the craziest wife/future wife.

Nah bruv.  To my knowledge the USA is the only country that celebrates thanksgiving. Nobody bats an eyelid here in the UK. but anyhoo most of the spending here is happening in anticipation of Christmas, already.

All I know is that I went out at midnight and got me a nice 160gb hard drive for $20. My sister came with me and got a wireless router for the same price but she said she never wants to deal with all these crazy people again on Black Friday.

See i swear black Friday in Britain is the anniversary of some riot involving suffragettes in 19-oh-something and it's in July.  Do you eat turkey at thanksgiving? hence all the "bush fucked a turkey" threads?

My wife bought me 2142 today for $9.99 on special at Best Buy -- She lives by the motto: "Its not how much you spend, but how much you save".  Anyways, she spent maybe $1K today, but said she could afford it since I don't go out as much because I'm sitting home playing BF2 -- I think 2142 is part of her plot to ensure she has more to spend next year:)
