I want to record some clips with fraps in 2142 but i cant i run fraps then i go to game and start recording. The i stop recording and when i try to open this video it says: Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.(WMP)
Error Code: 80040218. No combination of filters could be found to render the stream.(Power DVD)
DivX dont do nothing.
RealPlayer dont do nothing.
What should i do??
Fraps version is 2.8.1

The codec comes with fraps, try reinstalling fraps and see if you then can view the videos

get the latest version of fraps, then it should play it (it should install the codec with it)

Now with realpalyer it starts but there is now video only the screen form beggining.

It doesn't matter what player you use if it doesn't work on one it doesn't work on any, you need the codec and it should install it with fraps and it seems like it doesn't for some reason
