Does anyone use light armor?

Y'know, that little check box in the customize screen. It gives to less armor in favor for a longer lasting sprint (your avatar also gets a slightly different look). Does anyone use it? In BF2, this was considered a disadvantage to certain classes because you needed to balance out the Medic's healing abilities, for example. But in 2142, all dedicated medics can get heavy armor, so does anyone use the lighter set?

I suppose I could see snipers and cloakers using it. Using a car to get from point a to point b isn't the stealthiest option.

I think lighter armor should make your sprint faster, not longer, then it would be worth it.

This has been covered before,but as most people have the sprint upgrade and stamina one,you can afford to wear it all the time.

Interesting idea, I mainly use the light armor as spec-ops for either going on a dog-tag hunt or moving quickly when I have to get to places fast like at the start of a round. I like the idea of actually being able to run faster too, as it would be another advantage and make sense because you were not weighed down as much.

Other than going stealthy though as spec-ops, I rarely use it otherwise.

I use it when I fly, on the chance that if I decide to bail out that I can run for longer to a nearby vehicle. But I don't like bailing out (It gets my boots dirty)

I never wear armor. I like running.

Perhaps I'm just good at retreating.

If you played Counterstrike you will probably always wear heavy armour. One shot kills with snipers were the most anoying thing I ever experienced in any game. And Zeler does that...

the only time i ever wear light armor is the very start of the city maps so i can run fast so i can whore up the walker....other than that its heavy all the time

I dont usualy were it at the beginning or a titan round when al yer doing is capping silows but defending or attacking u have arom so i can last a tad longer
