you can't use paint...
MS Paint? You can't do animated .gifs in that program.
Get Photoshop, or one of its free rip-offs, like PaintShop.

The easiest for you would probably be using paint - shocking huh - and gimp

[#]Paste it in gimp

To all you other 1337 photochoppers that may doubt me, it is possible and I have done it before, easier than imageready maybe and less to learn.

Even though gimp is satisfactory.
what cant you do in gimp that you are likely to need.
I don't know that to be honest but then again I'm no expert...
