Guys he is absolutely correct. I have a friend who does not run AV software and this Trojan messed him up pretty bad. Here is what it is.

There's actually a few of those going around, all with the same premise and effect. It's just the link that changes. It goes without saying that you should avoid them all. The image doesn't show up, but rather you have to download the 'picture'. Obviously, its not a picture.

As far as I know, one of its effects is to pass itself along, by opening a contact window for each online contact you have, and send the message automatically. Of course, thats annoying in itself.

My housemate downstairs also had his computer completely crash out after downloading the file, and had to get it fixed at the local shop.

As far as how many of these are going around, my girlfriend and I have seen about 6 or 7 between us, and thats just in the past few days. I expect there's many many more.
