I'm serious, I believe that the guy in top place has like 485 hours or so logged. Thats like 11 hours a day.

In BF2 I have 370 ish hours and dont play for 11 hours a day....When I was really into BF2 I played maybe an hour a day, sometimes two

485 Hours/40 days = 12 hours a day, actually...assuming they started playing the day it came out. And if they did, I no longer feel guilty about playing 180 hours in that same span. I had several weekends where I had nothing to do, and that added a lot. At least *I* have a social life, and (possible) girlfriend, lol
I just topped 400 hrs and I've been playing casually for just over a year (started player last November DAMN YOU DIAL UP). Anyway..but no 450+ hrs isn't ridiculous. 1200+..yeah...just a little much.

What is really amusing is that people posting here have no idea that it's in the 2142 category. They prolly saw it on the homepage and clicked it thinking it's related to bf2. Nope. It isn't. You'd think that the thing that says Index>>Battlefield 2142 would be a hint, but nope. And to answer the OP, no it doesn't bother me...some people got no lives and spend all day playing 2142, big friggin whoop? Wanna gather all your friends and go to their house, knock on their door and say, "Hi! We saw you clearly don't have a life and we're concerned...so we all came here to be your new friends, in RL!!!".

In fact, you have less of a life as you are one that's complaining about other people "discussing" when really "discussing" is what the world is based on and what keeps (vague) peace in the majority of the world.

Do the hours the beta/demo was played count too? then it would be a lot less hours a day.
The only thing i can imagine is going on is something i read about child'labor' that happens in China.
I read somewhere that in China people would force children to play World of Warcraft all day, and they would
take away all the gold and items they collected. These items would then be sold on Ebay. The children would get nothing in return but a bit to eat.
Are BF2142 accounts with all unlocks and such being sold as far as anyone knows? I can imagine that stuff like WoW is going on here too. Only are there no items to take away, so maybe it's about selling accounts that are totally unlocked.
Because if you consider the 12 hours of playing, there would be absolutely no time left doing anything else. I mean say there is only an hour or six left (counting six hours of sleep) for the rest of your activities (eating (or would they do that behind the computer as well), getting dressed, going to the bathroom).
I would also think that 12 hours a day would seriously damaging your health.

You won't be able to sell account on 2142 as far as i know because once you have used your EA account on one 2142 CD key you can't use it on another one so you would have to sell the game with the account for it to work...MrEzeuss wrote:

I dunno, I was initially scared because I had logged round 50 hrs and was afraid I was playing too much, but then I checked these guys out and was like ...."nevermind"
Would bother me if I had that much time logged but since I onlly got around 55 hrs I'm happy
There is a posibility that more than one person play the same accaunt. Maybe there are few of them.
My brother logged bunch of hours with "zeidmaan" soldier. Hes not realy in to 2142 so when he wants to play he uses my soldier with almost all the unlocks. Better than creating his own.

Has it occurred to you guys that these ppl with allot of hours are like clan admins that just sit in a server all day logged in but not playing?... it is either that or they are totally INSANE...
when i play i get on for 3-4 hours at a time (it helps that i homeschool, once i am done with school at about 5 o'clock, i can just turn the game on)
but i can't play every day cause i do other stuff to: i play hockey so i have practice 2 days a week, plus some nights i go out with my girlfriends (lol i have 2 girlfriends at the moment, not bad for a homeschooler, LOL). plus other random stuff i have going...
when i play i get on for 3-4 hours at a time (it helps that i homeschool, once i am done with school at about 5 o'clock, i can just turn the game on)

I've got about 70-80 hours in BF2142. And I find that A LOT of time in 40 days.
Since I only have about 250 hours in BF2, and those 250hours are stretched over a period of a year, they almost double that time in 40days?
If they had; they wouldn't play like 11-12hours a day..
Besides; they have to sleep sometime don't they?
So let's say they sleep 6hours (which isn't much of course).. That leaves 6 hours a day that they aren't sleeping nor gaming..
