Engineer's SAAW AA Won't lock on transports

I've been playing with it a lot since getting it a couple days ago and so far it will not lock on shuttle/transport aircraft - only the attack aircraft (and even then I've had it not work sometimes).

And this is not an issue of being too far or anything else. Straight-up won't lock on target....period.

Anyone else using it and having any problems?

yeah, it has more glitches then bf2 ever had. sometimes it will lock, and its a dud. other times it doesnt lock at all. it rarely works properly, but when it does, boy is it good.

Quite often the mech AA guns don't lock on transports, however sometimes it locks when you ain't even looking.

See the same thing, although it takes 3 shots to destroy transport ships so i dont even bother destroying them. THe fighter gunships take 2 shots, and they are easy to lock on.
