Check this out, I apply for commander and this guy gets the commanders position becayse it says he had a higher rank than me. somethings wrong with this picture.

Thats happened to me 2, i applied for commander and some lower ranked player gets the job. wtf is that?
^^and that higher score last round thing only works if 2 players apply that are the same rank^^

I'm not accusing him of cheating, there isnt a hack that i know of that does that but i dont stay up to date on that shit, i have better things to do with my life.

Still though, honestly what does a score last round have to do with outranking somebody to get commander?

as i said, after a certain ammount of time into the commander application process the higest ranking person that has applied so far will get it even if you apply for it and outrank him but apply after that time

In bf2 ranks are relevent. If you are higher then me u will get commander over me, even if i attempt to go commander b4 u.

i remember one time i actually got the 'press pg up or down if u want to be commander text' though when i said yes it said 'someone with a higher rank........"

2142 may be different.

Higher ranks always take command, unless a low rank applys for command, and gets the "Press Page up to accept" message, then they will get it, if they press page up.

Sometimes there are bugs (in bf2? no wai!) that give you the "press page up to accept" even if it's too late.
