i keep getting this message:

"This server only allows players with unmodified content to join. Revert your version of battlefield 2 to the current official version to join."

i installd it today, got it for xmas , i have installd the patch we all installd last month after i installd SF, 1.12 was it..., dont know if i need to do i?

either the game is Pirate, or maybe just click community at the top, then click to the regular version...
or u might not have the right patch.

tmrw, i get to sit in front of the computer and get frutrated because Special Forces probably wont work lol.

You must install ALL the previous patches... 1.02, 1.03, 1.1 and 1.12 I think....

Edit: To ryan: Have you istalled the patch 1.12 again after installing SF?
I tried to run SF for 2 days succesless until some1 told me to do this...

Yes, you need 1st install all patches starting from 1.02 and ending to 1.12 and if you install SF you must reinstall 1.12 after that.

i had that problem too, my solution was to completely uninstall SF and BF2, install BF2 then install SF on a CLEAN CD version, then patch with 1.12 (the others aren't necessary,SF patches it to 1.11 before it installs). seems like when you install SF onto a patched BF2 it breaks it somehow (probably because it patches it to 1.11 first).

No, you dont need to install all the patches, just 1.12

well now im getting the same message. i installed SF, then the 1.12 pacth afterwards, retarted my comp, and it wont work, so i tried re-entering my CD key, and it says its invalid!

i need help desperately.

so do i install just 1.12 after installing sf, or install every patch?
