i think they should create a "goaline stand" feature. gamers would be able to make their rb's jump over the entire line, dive under players, etc. defensive players would have the same options where if both selected to jump over the line, there would be a collision at the top middle, and the defensive player would win...
any other ideas?

That would be a great idea dude,TBH i don't think there is much more they can do as they have added nearly everything into the game.
