Anyone seen this before? I looked around and didn't find nothing. I don't have any idea if there is any truth to this or not, just came across it on a FEAR forum.

Well at the bottom it says that 729,595 people who are unable to play bf2. The bargraphs are each video card the user supposively had. Again, I dont know anything about valve or why they'd be registering with them in regards to bf2 working, so I thought i'd throw it up here and see if anyone had a cluepon.

yay, and if ms logged how many people played aoe II without a gfx card that could play bf2, they would have way more people. face it: cs with gfx on all high still looks way worse than bf2 on super low.

The 4/FX series were known for there horrible DX9 performance, so it also effects other games too. (CSS for example plays like shit on those cards and use DX8)

Looking at the stats collected, the original picture posted at the top is a fake. Notice on the valve website they capitalise the word "Video Card" everytime...whereas the picture at the top doesnt.
Also, Valve dont use the colon after their headings.
Have you seen CSS with high graphics compared to BF2 with low graphics?

Well when I look at the picture, I see the image, and some guy having typed text ontop of it in white letters. I never once came to the conclusion that the white text was anything but put there at a diffrent time by the user. That does not disprove this image from having possibly been from a diffrent survey of some type. BF2's been out for how long? Year and a half now almost? Depending on when that survey was done, it could be old news thats been put into an archive, if it's even real.Snake wrote:

The SS in the first post is from a Steam hardware survey, where at the end they tell you the stats of everyone else who's taken the survey. It's not fake at all. The thing is, this is a survey of ANYONE who has steam. This includes oldschool DoD/CS/TFC/HL players, and even all those people who play 100's of other games on steam that have very low video reqiruements. This survey has NOTHING to do with BF2 probably all of those people who are unsupoorted don't have BF2 and most probably have no desire to get it even if they had a good enough video card.
I'm sure if you took a survey of everyone in the world, you'd find billions of people who are unsupported by BF2. And I'm sure if it was actually a serious problem, profit-hungry sell-this-crap-to-everyone EA would fix it.
